Yes you do. I don't know the details, but using WiFi does not access your data usage.

Quick question regarding WIFI and usage on the Curve. 
  
Until recently I have been using an 8800 and have seen AIRTIME usage drop dramatically since switching to the curve with WIFI. 
Is this possible? 
  
I am trying to figure out if you use the WIFI Capability on the BBERRY do you avoid airtime?
