ATT has confirmed their Data (and in some areas) voice network has been affected with outages. They said it was a priority 1 with no estimated up time. GPRS/EDGE/ and UMTS in those areas, so its not just BBs.

A few data connection refused, several people that have connections (uppercase EDGE) but nothing is working. BB Messenger isn't working, nor are the BIS accounts.
I'm on hold with our tier support at RIM but they seem to think it might be a carrier.
Also strangely enough, our SMTP is having troubles routing outbound messages and we're noticing them piling up on the mail.box

I have had a "Data Connection Refused" message for 2 1/2 hours. I'm on
AT&T. Did a hard reset, etc. Anyone else having a issue in the Chicago
area?

I just had a user say he is having the same issue. He flew out of Omaha this morning and it was working fine. He landed in Chicago, turned the phone back on and got the 'Data Connection Refused' error.
