[Bb-Outage] AT&T/RIM Network Outage?

I was told by AT&T that there was a firewall that had a problem connecting to RIM and they had to reroute traffic trough another datacenter.    This is supposedly a workaround made at 9:47am.   My service was restored on its own, but AT&T recommends removing the battery and reinserting if you still have issues. They probably show an outage until they correct the original firewall problem.

Here in Fort Lauderdale, on ATT, our users are fully functional, no issues. But our ATT rep confirms an outage with no ETA as of yet.  So it appears to be hit & miss.

I believe it is only att. Tmobile is working fine. However my friend on att is dead in the water.

Yes.  I have contacted AT&T early this morning and there is a problem in the Southeast.  Started around 11:45 yesterday and they have had intermittent service since.  They are working on the issue and will restore service as soon as possible.

Is there a planned/unplanned outage for this morning. I am on AT&T and my Blackberry is unable to use any data services nor is it connected to the Blackberry Exchange Server. I thought outages were scheduled for later this week, but clearly something is going on as my edge won't go CAPS. Please advise.
